Back To The Future: Prevett Heating and Cooling

After graduating from King Phillip High, earning his HVAC certification in 1976 from Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology in Boston (now closed), and with 13 years in the industry as both a tech, then eventually working his way up to service manager, Paul Prevett decided to take his career to the next level. Prevett opened his business, Prevett Refrigeration, in 1989 with one truck and a business telephone on a desk in the family's dining room. In those early days, Paul would park his truck in a highly visible location on the Foxboro Common, hoping that folks in town would see his name and call him for HVAC repairs and installations. Although Prevett Heating and Cooling still calls Foxboro home, we now serve many other communities as well, such as Wrentham, Franklin, Sharon, Easton, Mansfield, and we also cover the Weston, Newton, and Wellesley, and Dover areas as well.

Over the years, our company name has changed to reflect the nature of the work we do. Heating, air conditioning, and air quality service, installation, maintenance, and repair have become our primary focus over time. Prevett Heating and Cooling, also known as Prevett Heating & Air and Prevett HVAC, has grown and expanded into a company that prides itself on expertise in the realm of residential and commercial heating and cooling solutions, with a particular specialization in heat pumps, split systems, ductless as well as more traditional ducted systems, whole house heating and cooling options, and gas furnaces. Replacement of old or outdated equipment is also an area of specialization for Prevett.
